Went to this yesterday for the first time. My God, organised brawl with police backing.

Had a brilliant time, got mildly pissed and fell over in the river. Got my hands on the 'ball' once but took a swift punch to the stomach seconds later.

If you ever get the chance to go I highly reccomend it. Polished off with a decent Thai meal late on

Bloody hell Wubbs, you're a brave man to get involved in that.
You would be a prime candidate to do 'Tough Guy' with me in July ;)

It looks like legalised hooliganism but great craic.

Fraid not. Those pics were from Tuesday's match (the corporate day so I'm told?!?) I was at yesterdays 'locals' match when there were continual snow blizzards all day.

Match started at 2pm and I'm told someone actually scored a 'goal' around 8 30pm. By that time I was struggling to prop a bar up somewhere via a chip shop

I can highly reccomend this if you ever get the chance

Organised chaos. Bet the locals love having their hedges ruined!

At one point it went through a Sainsbury's car park. All of the landscaping, fences and a couple of cars were trashed completely.

I'm told the Council go round afterwards and repair everything

Yes, there's the hooped arm at the river and the same guy under the tree?
