A few people have referred to the fact that we don't have an Ashbee type character in the midfield, who breaks up play, gets stuck in, leads by example but also tells the other players who aren't performing to get their heads from up their arse. Am I right in thinking that it was SB who took Cattermole to Sunderland and if so it makes you wonder why he hasn't brought a combative midfielder to City?

I think he should be further forward as his header was the closest we got to a goal yesterday

need to get a captain sorted in the summer , a proper captain..
we lost every 50-50 yesterday , Ashbee wouldnt have let it happen, he would have grabbed us by the scruff of the neck (literally)
cant keep dreaming he was back tho, need to find a replacement...
i did think Meyler could, but at times he goes down easier then Ronaldo

Phil Neville would be good for us next season but we'd need to be in the Premier, I don't think he's be interested in stepping down to the Championship.
