I know I have posted a couple of threads recently trying to inject some humour or optimism into our woeful league position. No more. Tonight, I opened my clothes drawer, only to see my beloved hoops top. I found myself wryly chuckling, and for the first time actually angry that Hughes has ruined my pride at being a hoop. Love & pride for QPR.?Well, we all have a particular moment that sums this up, so feel free to comment... For me, it was my very first game in 87 (?) vs Spurs. Bobby Mimms let in that goal between his legs and since that day, aged 14, have been hooked. We have I'm sure all lost grandparents, girlfiends, and sadly maybe parents during our time supporting QPR, but we can never loose our love for the hoops. I can safely say that Hughes has managed single handedly (well, along with a handful of crap players ) to almost completely ruin all that I have loved. I want to feel proud to be a hoop again, and want to see some Passion. I want to wear my top with pride. Come on Tony, do the decent thing.
I know how you feel Surrey, I'm totally pissed-off with the way things have gone since that amazing day in May when we scared the sh*t out of Man City. Ludicrous signings and still more ludicrous tactics (or lack of) have contributed to where we are now. How TF can not pull the trigger is beyond me and I think even Harry would have to produce a Lazarus-like turnaround to stay up, and I'm resigned to Championship football next season. On the upside, I'd back Harry to bring us straight back up next season and I think he'd relish the challenge...
We are only 5 points off and vanilla ate looking dire. It's not over yet although talk of top 10 finishes is ridiculous. We can stay up if we ring the changes and start winning
