I hope Monk is back sooner rather than later because Ash is very average without Monk next to him, giving him advice and talking to him etc.

This isn't a critisism of Caulker. Just think Ash needs a leader/talker next to him as he's too gung ho without Monk. I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling Ash will get bummed this season if he carries on like the last 2 games.

Monk will not get game time like tate won't either, he will get a bit part role as sub at best, and I thought williams had a good game today, well penalty tackle aside

Ash had a good game today, some good headers and made a great tackle in the first half which stopped Wigan from potentially scoring, I think you're beong a bit harsh on him, most players haven't fully adapted to the Premier League just yet so I think we need to give him time

i thought ash & Caulker are getting stonger as a unit but there wasnt a lot of communication they just need to work on that. Dont forget ash & Monk had nigh on 2 seasons together to work on the partnership, we are a lot more commanding in the air at present dont think caulker lost a header yesterday and gomez knew exactly what he was doing yesterday it was a penalty but gomez was cute with it, still a point just need one to go in off of someone to give a bit of confidence in front of goal

MOTD wow, you must have really made it to be shown last on MOTD, did you ring your mam's during the game to see if she could see you in the crowd?

Ignore the blueturd. Silly twohat. We've got the Mackems next then Arsenal. They've got Portsmouth and Donny. Says it all.

I actually thought our defence was OK by and large. Ash's captaincy is well overdue and I think he did quite well but is obviously finding his feet - no pun intended. Don't forget it's a huge step up for him too. It's about time he let go of Monk's apron strings. We need good players at the back and Caulker looked pretty self assured to me. No way is Monk a better player than him. If your suggestion is that we include Monk just because of a real or perceived influence on Ash that's madness.

Cant see monk coming in for caulker im afraid . Ash will have to get by without him , thought he did ok yesterday but it will take him a few games to get his head around prem football, the standard of front player is stellar compared to the NPC.

Monk in the team will be like watching alan tate against man city , willing player but out of his depth .

Bit like Swansea in the Prem, MOTD will be worth watching this season just to watch you getting embarrised, when do you reckon you'll score a goal / get your first win <laugh>

I though there was something odd about this thread.... then I seen a Bardiff fan on it, so normal service resumed <laugh>

They were on last because they drew 0-0, guarantee next week if they win/lose with a few goals they won't be last on

    Woohoo MOTD,<laugh><laugh><laugh>

The excitement of my club being on a TV show does nothing for me, but if I was a Jack with an inferiority complex, it must be the most improtant thing in the world.
