im a little lost, ive checked the fixtures on the ascot racing website but there is no meeting scheduled with the QE II Stakes. Is it not arranged yet?

I would have thought tickets would be available now.

    Cheers OddDog.

I had to laugh at this on the website under 'Dress Code'

Grandstand Admission Dress Code: Whilst we encourage racegoers to wear smart clothes no formal dress code applies except that bare chests are not permitted at any time.

    <laugh> what killjoys

Sad indictment of our society that they even have to print something like that, but I guess the way you see some people walking around these days it's "better safe than sorry"

The mind boggles at how this will be interpreted.

They say there is no dress code, but I guarantee if I turned up in a pair of Speedo's, T-shirt, and flip flops that they wouldnt let me in.

I don't understand this bare chest rubbish, surely a women wearing a dress with a low cut top, has a bare chest, fair enough there not showing the goods, but still there showing there chest. Pretty much every bird at Ascot wears a low cut top. Maybe the rules should have stated no one is allowed in without a top on:biggrin:
