Asante has been recalled to Birmingham. I thought his performance Saturday (despite the misses) showed great promise and this is another blow for us. It shows the folly of over-reliance of loan players and it looks like we will just have two fit strikers on Saturday with no striking cover on the bench. It would be nice to think we could sign an experienced striker by then but I for one am not holding my breath.

I think most will echo your sentiments! .....and it's such a pity after the near euphoria following Saturday's win!

Have all the good buys been bought? or is there a real gem just waiting for us to call? What's the number of the Scottish FA; I'm sure they must have SOME good players up there that are undiscovered because the known ones are a bit suspect!

What do you call an Australian who can handle a bat?

AJ has been through the slough of despondency, yes reach goes in 3 weeks, so gt needs to get some loannees in pdq, preferably 6 month loans, they last longer!

Now it is reported that Tavernier might have a broken foot and his loan might be over. This is turning out be a nightmare of a season.
