As someone who is very interested in WWII this piece is interesting on Avram Grant,

amazing story.... grant is doing a good thing in keeping it alive. some guys off that panorama story last night need to be hauled off to listen to it.

 

Some of those on the panorama story last night were probably the offspring of those involved in the atrocities mentioned in Grant's story.

 

It's incredible what some people have to try and live through- puts "courageous" footballers in their place.
The shame is that these things are still going on today, albeit on a smaller scale.
We just don't seem to learn.

6 Million Jews were murdered, in total more than 11 million people were slaughtered in the Holocaust.

If anyone wants to read a similar, but more in depth story, i'd recommend reading Maus, absolutley shocking, but a great read.
