This should have been in the thread above about City's worst ever player.

I can still see him rolling that ball wide from a few yards of an open net towards the Grange End against Coventry (?) in an early season game.<yikes>
 
It was against Coventry - I couldn't believe he missed that. <doh>

From memory we lost the game 0-1 and Purse smashed a penalty against the crossbar so hard it was still rattling on Sunday........<laugh>
