    As the table stands it is still possible for
    Villa to finish 7th
    QPR to finish 13th
    Wigan to finish 13th
    Blackburn to finish 15th
    Bolton to finish 10th
    Wolves to finish 16th

    unlikely but possible
    13th would be great but 17th is just fine

    having said that all of the above could still finish bottom
    also very unlikly but possible

    Sorry my old Kiwi friend, but I don't think you're taking into account teams playing each other so one or both will guarantee picking up at least a point. For example, Everton play Fulham, so one of them has to reach 49 points so Villa can't finish 7th?

    Monday's are quiet in London too......
