As It Stands At The Moment.

This is how it stands at the moment, and as said earlier, with games against QPR on Saturday and other home games against teams in the bottom half of the league that should be winnable are:

Reading on the 19th Jan.
Southampton on the 23rd Feb.
Stoke on the 9th of Mar.
And of course the Mackems on the 13th April.

The slightly better GD than Villa might yet come into play. That would be really good if we stayed up at their expense on GD.

Its amazing how tightly packed we all are at this stage. We need to put a run of three or four games post Xmas and any worries people have will soon be banished.

 

I don't think we'll be threatened by relegation this season to be honest. I don't think we should get into the habbit of only classing the bottom teams as winnable games. We were unlucky vs Fulham and performed well. Our performance vs City was good, but City were just too good.

The top 10 is a very achievable target, and I think 8th is still on the cards.

 

8th would be very nice but it would mean other teams having to lose games apart from us winning games.

Achievable but very difficult.
