Despite the unwanted attentions of Mark Hughes and Stoke,we have managed to hold on to Lee Cattermole in this transfer-window,and to me this is as good as a new signing....why would we sell one of our best players? Our manager, who is a class act, obviously didn't want Lee to move.He got his way. Now,let's beat our neighbours....without Lee,as he's injured!!:D

It is good news, you don't sell your best players its as simple as that. We have been guilty of it so many times in the past and look where it has got us.

You don't let players like Cattermole just walk away that easily and certainly not to a relegation rival as well. He isn't the best player that is in the EPL today but he is a vital piece of the jigsaw here imo and will have a huge part to play between now and the end of the campaign.

I for one (I know I am not alone in this) as a very happy fan he is staying.

Just a shame that he can't play tomorrow...but,at least,he'll be able to help get the lads to know what derby-day is all about!

Glad he's staying. Would make no sense to sell to Stoke now, especially when we don't know how Bridcutt will take to the PL.

Hope Catts stays for a few years yet - he's good enough and has improved on the discipline front. Let's hope it continues!
