I quite like the entire video. The chronology is all over the show, and you can see where he's still more mad as a hatter [and fat] than goalkeeper. Those bits where he rushes out for crosses and misses them, one realises now that he used to be able to do that sort of thing with his eyes shut [metaphorically speaking], he was that good. Then he must have had a bad time at Fiorentina to get so out of shape. So do I. Boom!

Although the video doesn't show it, when Boruc clattered Rooney like a set of skittles, Rooney didn't get up and whinge. He exchanged a pat from Artur and got on with the game. Mind, you wouldn't argue with Artur, would you..?
Boruc is incredible. I will be the first to admit I thought it was wrong to sign him a year ago. But he has one hell of a presence, a natural shot stopping ability and is an incredible leader. Possibly out best keeper than Niemi. In fact, I think better than Niemi
What Boruc has is confidence. This means that he makes decisions...some may turn out to be wrong, but better to be decisive. He will be right most of the time and it is off putting for attacking players. It is a known fact in animal behavioural studies that the one who looks like he is in charge usually wins the argument as the more timid concede. I also love the fact that Boruc sweeps aside suggestions that he has done anything wonderful...I should be making those saves he says. And woe betide any player who approaches him after such a save...sent away with a flea in their ear for putting him to the trouble.
Ye anyone remember his penalty save at Norwich last season. Fonte ran up to congratulate him as Boruc shove him over
Saying, presumably, words to the effect of: "Yes, I know I saved the penalty but you may have noticed that it went for a corner which they are about to take... NOW!"
I want Artur to let Rooney score for England, but then learn from his mistakes and play a blinder at OT. Win, win.
No no no, completely wrong, Fran. You want Artur to play an absolute blinder, which means that Rooney or someone else gets substituted. On comes Rickie and Artur star jumps over the ball as Rickie passes it underneath him and into the goal. Then he shuts all the ManU forwards out at OT. That's what you meant, I'm sure. Much better scenario.
