So as the season edges closer I wonder which team next season doing all the talk now will end up with the most egg on their face.

Man Utd - Well we are Champions, have brought in new younger players but have lost some top class players aswell. Still dont have that CM player we need but still can be quietly confident of winning number 20.

Chelsea - Seem to be keeping their heads down so far, little in the way of transfers and a squad which on paper seems good but in reality isn't all that.

Arsenal - Well its only a matter of time before Wenger pipes up about Arsenal's chances. They will go from failures to certain quadruple winners to failures in the space of a year no doubt.

Man City - Getting better but with an awful manager, in fighting to some degree and Gael Clichy coming in and Tevez set to leave they are weaker than last season right now.

Liverpool - King Ken, huge sums spent, new belief...........setting themselves up for something over at Anfield. Question is.......success or failure. I know which most think.

Tottenham - Tasted Champions League football last season but missed out this time. Do they have what it takes to get 4th spot once again. Should they aim that high?

So in your own opinion who is setting up for a season of failure?

For me its a toss up between Liverpool and Arsenal.

If for example both have decent starts they will let their imaginations run free and believe they will win the league. It simply wont happen. Both sides are poor and littered with average players. Liverpool are building a squad which in a few years may be able to start competing at the top but for now its more a battling team. Arsenal I feel will continue to slide.

Liverpool will be the biggest fail, the fans just think he is so good, but his record suggests otherwise.
Then again, French Arse could fall flat.

    Squillaci? I doubt his existence
    Nasri? Great
    Fabregas? Quality
Walcott? Average to ok to good depending on his game.
    Wilshere? Good
    Van Persie? Fantastic
Chamakh? Pretty sure he was bought as a dare. Average at best.
    Bendtner? Dreadful
    Gervinho? Cant comment
    Rosicky? Not bad
    Song? Slightly above avergae
    Denilson? Horrific.
Arshavin? Solid player with some magic if he can be bothered.

I think that Arsenal's players might start to become disillusioned with their manager. Might be the beginning of the end for Arsene.

Oh come on. The players want trophies as much as the fans do.

Surely the team most set up for failiure is Chelsea?

With a new manager who is less experenced than anyone else in the league Chelsea could be in for a mighty fall. I dont know much about the guy, and everyone is comparing him to Mouriniho, but surly there is as much chance that he is the next Christian Gross?

If it blows up in Romans face the compitition is there this year to see them drop out of the top four.
