Pardew has missed a trick. He has gone all out on an average player who doesn't want to come here (Erdinc) and while this has gone on, Blackburn seem to be buying David Goodwillie (good prospect and a funny name. Good british player would've wanted him) and The Zog has gone to Villa. I think that these two would have been the only other transfers which need to happen this summer (unless someone else left a la Jose) and we'd be set for a good season. I think that if PArdew had gone for these two, we might have had results in transfer terms for the first time in a month.

If we sign Long/Erdinc and BArnetta, Ill be fine but I don't want it to be the last day of the transfer window and Jose is sold and we have Ba, Ameobi and Best up front and Fergie in LB. Thats my worry.

I know people will say we have enough wingers, I think 1 more is needed. Barnetta is a player I deeply admire and at the moment we are clutching at straws - ifs and buts in terms of transfers.

Come on Alan and Mike. Do whats best for the club, fans and then you might earn some cash by qualifying for Europe you planks.

 

Striking targets - I'd say the opposition's goal (someone tell Shola)

 

Right now, in order of importance Strikers > Defence> Midfield

 

Now KAzenga's gone, I would feel more confortable with another winger tbh - CM is no worry though.

 

I think a winger is needed more than an out and out striker to be honest..
Someone like..Gervinho

 

Or Menez or N'Zogbia.

But they've all gone to the wrong ****ing clubs

 

Realistically we could sign one of the following:

Andriy Voronin
Carl Cort
Stefan Iverson
Mark Viduka

Or maybe even make Smith into a striker again.

 

But.. but.. they do not have pace.

 

Realistically I can only see us signing 1 more player.....a striker. If Enrique leaves, then maybe sign a replacement.

 

welliton (**** Erdinc) i'd like to see a replacement for jose bought now get rid of some of the **** buy a RW and i wish we'd have excepted the bassong offer

 

aslong as we get one of (erdinc welinton rondon) i'll be chuffed would say 2 of those but fat mike can't fork out 15mill of the 35mill we were supposedly meant to get

 

Don't think Russian clubs charge much for their players either.

 

Welliton or Larsson would do me, i'd be happy with Erdinc though. I'd say proper RB cover is needed (as much as i love Perch, he's pure ****e) and definitely LB cover before wingers are considered!

If Erdinc doesn't happen (and it's sounding less likely) I reckon it'll be Long .. look at it whichever way you like, but we're a newly promoted club .. we have a limited amount of 'sell' that can be given to entice top players in at the moment .. admittedly we never went for N'Zogbia .. but that's only because Ashley won't buy **** all from Dave Whelan.

 

It's not that Erdinc doesn't want to come here, it's that he doesn't want to leave PSG. If he is forced out I can't see him any issue with him coming here

 

We should've given up on Erdinc ages ago, hopefully we'll get someone good in up front

 

Any out of Erdinc, long, Welliton, Vagner love, Rondon or Vossen would suit me

 

Truth is we wont get any of them
