The man blames his players, the very same players he needs to perform for the forseeable (this is so dumb, so so dumb, ******ed).
He feels this is appropriate despite MANAGING this team for a SIGNIFICANT amount of time already.....and despite spending lots of somebody else's money on no less than 8, EIGHT (nearly a whole team!), new recruits this summer.
And didn't see fit to acknowledge that he has even a scintilla of responsibility AT ALL.

The man defies belief. He also seems to be blackmailing the financial backers of your club by demanding many more signings as you are A MILLION MILES AWAY....REALLY!?!? He knows that demanding new signings puts pressure on the money men as more signings is always popular with supporters.

Don't fall for it. Don't let him spend any more of your club's money. He is utterly incompetent.

I'm a Swansea fan (we've just been promised £90 million and we haven't even signed 8 players this summer...it looks like you out bid us to loan Stockdale!) and took an interest in Jewell when he tried to unsettle Ferrie Bodde while Derby County manager. He made a mess of that club and he is doing the same to yours, I promise you.

Spot the pattern;
- SPEND LOADS OF MONEY ON ****E HAS BEEN PLAYERS
- FAIL TO COACH SAID PLAYERS INTO AN ORGANIZED UNIT
- BLAME THE PLAYERS
- DEMAND MORE MONEY FOR MORE NEW OVERPRICED PLAYERS
- BLAME EVERYBODY ELSE
- FLUCK OFF INTO THE SUNSET

If you knew the first thing you'd know that Swansea wanted to sign him permanently which Fulham had no intention of doing and that Premier League clubs can't have a loan deal with a 24 hour recall so there was no bidding involved for Stockdale.

He has spent less than nothing on transfers (think we're about £5m up on transfers since he joined).

I will hazard a guess that your knowledge of the ins and outs of PJ's relationship with Ipswich is about as well-informed as your knowledge of the Stockdale deal.

 

He blames the defence and he is spot on. I would be worried if he believed our defenders were good enough...

 

I think there's a difference between blaming our defence, and actually just saying the truth. Personally, I find it refreshing that he's willing to say it how it is and not feed the fans excuses as if we're mentally ******ed.

 

Jeeeez you clearly are getting Paul Jewell mistaken for our previous manager Roy Keane, he has left you know.

Jewell will do great at Ipswich!! He may have done poorly at derby but what about Wigan and Bradford?

I know the details of the Stockdale deal intimately, seems like you mistake reading the paper with absolute knowledge.
Regardless of the transfer fees involved every player he has brought in will be costing a significant amount of money in wages, he's not unearthed any gems from the lower leagues has he? (Lots of clubs were interested in Cresswell, he didn't come cheap)

I know, I AM ABSOLUTELY ****ING CERTAIN, that any manager who has brought in 8 of his own players and has spent a significant amount of time coaching all those who were already at the football club HAS NO ****ING EXCUSE WHATSOVER FOR PERFORMANCES BEING A SHAMBLES....and that's a fact.

Where did I say that Cresswell came from a Premiership team? (I said he is one of the few to come from the lower leagues, BUT, his wages aren't cheap as he was in demand). YOU'RE A TURD
Where did I say that he has managed all of the new signings before? (I did not. I clearly stated that he had brought in 8 of his own picks and OF THOSE WHO WERE ALREADY AT IPSWICH HE HAS HAD MONTHS AND MONTHS OF COACHING THEM AND MANAGING THEM IN COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL GAMES...AND EVIDENTLY STILL HASN'T MANAGED TO ORGANIZE THEM.
