"Nicky and his agent have had the contract offer and its a good one. We'll have to see what happens; everyone's waiting..."

Yes you idiot, he's waiting for you to get rid of the inept management. Act now and the chances are that Nicky will sign (unless a prem club comes in) however, leave the chuckle brothers in charge and I expect he will be off and frankly I wouldn't blame him.

You now have 2 choices, you can stick your head in the sand and say that you won't be told what to do by us mere supporters however you have to remember that we, along with SL, ARE THE CLUB.

If you fail to act now, you will totally lose the confidence of both players and supporters alike as the feeling is now pretty much unanimous, I don't see a single post in support of the current management

Alternatively, you can open your eyes, act and save this season before it goes down the pan... AGAIN..!

There are good managers out there, not all in employment but, whatever you do, you need to find someone with;-

    a). a football brain
    b). organisational ability
c). a persona that the players will respect

Get one of these and the 2 defenders that we need and we will be fine...

As usual premiershiporbust you are right on the mark. City are a poorly run side without any plan or commitment and I see a major uprising by supporters who will rightly stay away in droves should this situation continue.

We deserve better and only when management acts decisively by bringing in a new manager who has, at least, some idea of how we can move forward will things have any chance of improving.

Frankly I have my doubts that it will happen but we all know it has to happen soon or this season will be disastrous. NO MORE EXCUSES PLEASE! We are fed up with KM's excuses.

The most frustrating part of this charade (and it is a charade) is that the likes of Steve Cotterill, Paul Jewell, Paul Lambert, Sean O'Driscoll, Eddie Howe, and many others would probably have jumped at the chance of filling the vacant managers chair when GJ left.

Instead, the chairman approaches someone who whilst well respected within football clearly wasn't that interested in the job in the first place (otherwise he would surely have applied for it??) and convinces him to take it, keeps the useless Millen in tow despite being part of two failed regimes, and then gives him the reins when Copout disappears. All of these are bad bad decisions and I know who I'm blaming. There can't be any more excuses while the club hurtle in totally the wrong direction.

The senior management at the club now needs to stand up and be counted and they can do this by acting properly and sensibly for once. Millen needs to leave the club completely, no giving him a job elsewhere at AG, as does Wigley as their management isn't working (and if I was in any doubt before I'm not now), and it never will. We need a fresh management team on-board with some credence and experience soonest to stop the rot.
