OK line drawn forget yesterday and on to Boxing Day. Fulham are struggling at present and their fans are very downbeat about their team in particular their midfield. Good opportunity for Gaston to shine! I think if we can shackle Berbatov then we have every chance of getting a result.

Have had some very enjoyable trips to Fulham in past seasons particularly in the late seventies but we don't have a great PL record there.

Here's hoping for some xmas cheer and three points. A Rickie hat trick would do!

We have the 85th best player in the world, but he's no Steve De Ridder.

Whilst my suspicions were that having such a break between Reading and Sunderland would do us more bad than good... I'm glad that this game comes so quickly afterwards. It also looks like being a good time to face Fulham, but only if we turn up and take it to them. I hope Nigel has learned a thing or two about how and who to utilise in Lallanas absense.

I'm going to go for a juicy 2-0 win with Lambert and Fonte getting the goals. But first it's Christmas and I hope everyone has a merry day <cracker>

Just watched the Liverpool highlights yesterday and they had huge joy down the right. Can see Clyne and Punch doing the same on Boxing Day!

Luckily I was working from 12 til 12 last night so I didn't pay much attention to the score...

Just realised we are now top of the Fair Play League two bookings clear of Norwich then Fulham who are in 3rd. Should be a clean game on Weds!

When will the pre-match press conference be for this one? Tomorrow?

Need a big reaction from the players after that dross yesterday.

Sunderland were well organised; Fulham are leaking goals so a great opportunity to profit. Puncheon needs to keep Riise on the back foot like Downing did last week. After watching Fulham at our place I think they are prone to errors if we press them. Still got to be careful with Berbatov around, although I thought we marked Fletcher well last match.

We also deserve bonus points for the calming influence we have...while there are five teams that have yet to receive a red card, we're the only one to go through the entirety of the year to date without either team seeing red in one of our games.

Now there is an idea. Bonus points for card free games. We'd be top 6 by now!;)

I wouldn't cry if Fulham was the game where he picks up his fifth yellow. Not only could he do with a game's rest during this Xmas period, but I'm also not entirely convinced that Stoke away is neccessarily going to suit a player like him!
