Jon can look after himself in physical clashes , if you know what I mean , without resorting to retaliation , which is a good point. His contribution to the team's efforts is not insignificant.
Yup...one of the most underated and unfairly criticised players over the past few years. His two goals in the semi-final agin Bolton will live long in (my) memory. SJW indeed
I must admit that I have criticised him in the past but with the new crop of players he seems to be hitting the goals where in the past he has to me somewhat fluffed his lines, long may it continue, I don't mind humble pie.
His form has been much better since coming bacl into the team, which probbaly shows how overplayed he was under TP. I have always said that he is an excellent utility player, but the fact that he is our top scorer says more about the lack of quality we have infront of goal than him himself.
