Morning all, some excellent racing at the Curragh to get your teeth into. Some big names and potentially some big improvers.

2.05 Curragh- Jessie Jane 11/1 e.w- A maiden that is bound to throw up a whole host of future winners. O#Brien as ever is trip[le-handed and Joseph's mount has a massive appeal on paper, though will probably need a mile and a quarter minimum to be seen to best effect. Jess Harringtons yard continues to improve and this one strikes me as a likely sort on paper, and the fillies mile entry suggests she has been showing up very well at home. Half sister to a 7f winner, and by Dylan Thomas, looks the type to possess a bit of speed and class to go close over the 1m.

2.35 Curragh COCOZZA 7/1 (NB) Landed a maiden in very taking fashion on second start after being just touched off on debut. Looked a horse with superb ability and looked to have trained on when travelling very sweetly on reappearance before being short of room, switched left and running on too late, though not given a hard time when chance gone. I think this is a horse to watch out for and I do think Banimpire's busy spell has to take effect sooner rather than later.

3.35 Curragh Rubina 10/1 Made up ground very impressively when a last to first winner on debut and a longer trip looks certain to suit. Will need to step forward but must have a chance if settling better early.

4.05 Curragh- GATEPOST 7/1 (NAP) Big imposing sort of Mick Channon's, and surely the unlucky horse in he Coventry. Spencer switched him from one side of the track to the other when at the back of the pack, but ran on strongly for a 2.5L 5th. I think this is a very smart horse and believe he has enough to land this.

Hope the weekend is going well, good to see the football league back.

What a cracking card. My mouth was watering just looking at those newcomers in the first race. Then looking at the rest of the card, it's a really good. Hope it's on TV.

    4.45 Ace Of Spies

This looks a race full of horses who do not like to win, I can see The Tatling running a good race again but I always think its best to take him on. Ace Of Spies is dropping in the weights and the Conor Dore yard is banging in the winners at the moment. This trip looks to be ideal and I think with a positive front running ride I can see him running a very big race. I am backing him win only because I still have the feeling that they may be trying to get him right for another crack at Southwell (he is weighted 8lbs higher on AW)

    2.30 Connowen

A race that won't take much winning and I think Connowen could easily be the answer. A newcomer who is by a sprinter out of a dam who has stamina in her line. The yard can ready one and it has a fair enough draw. EW play at 25/1

    4.30 Tegan

This one looks a rather good value bet. 7/2 despite running off 4lb lower than when she won at Bath on Tuesday. She is a big enough filly with scope and she seems to be the sort who can improve with racing. This race is no better than that one.

Afternoon all. I think H.Candy could have a good 15 mins with his only two runners, Gifted Dancer 2.30Win and Snooky 2.15 Leic.

But a Lucky 15 for me being:

3.30 Win. One Hit Wonder 3/1, to complete the hat-trick.
4.30 Win. Tegen 3/1, won earlier in the week and should follow up again today.
3.15 Leic. Rodee Queen 11/2, Been on her last twice and wont desert her until beaten.
3.45 Leic. Destiny Of A Diva 9/2, Seems to like it here and last 3 races here read 211.

    Good luck today

Afternoon all couldn't stay away from you all <laugh> Wasn't going to have a bet for a while but Dad struck a nice bet on footy yest and gave me some winnings to play with. Such a cracking card at the Curragh today as well so hopefully plenty of returns

    first two races

Windsort 2.00 - I like the look of CHARLIE FABLE here, has shown promise in maidens and I like Hughie Morrison's when they jump from maidens to handicaps. They often raise their game and a mark of 62 looks workable 9-2

Curragh 2.05 - A cracking maiden and on paper I can't get away from WAS, he could be a smashing prospect. Sold for 1,200,000 Euros as a yearling and although he will need further in time hopefully he will have enough class to win today under Joseph O'Brien 5-2
