Im not one to turn on the team/manager, and I won't, but I have to say we were poor tonight. Boro ran the game, great passing and movement, but the only player we had on the pitch who closed down was Jimmy, who was our MOTM by far, who of course was taken off. If he was injured, fair play, if not it was a poor decision. Henry had a bad game, Forde too, no communication between him and the defence. Trotter too sluggish although miles better than Saturday. Bouazza was our only player prepared to have a shot really, aside from Henry who had a few poor efforts.

Must commend their keeper too, outstanding, but we just weren't good enough. Felt like millwall of old with waiting for the ball to come to us, no closing down, letting them run at us and make space.

Must improve for Saturday, very disappointing. Even 1-0 up every player in the box defending a corner??? Why?? Have at least 2 quick players left up the field, aside from giving us an outlet it means they must leave more players to defend!!!

Very disappointed to let another lead slip, we sit back too much and purely counter attack when having a lead and don't think we can continue doing this!

Again, im not calling for anybodys head, but we cant keep giving games away!

obviously didnt see the game, but from what i can figure, we played 4-5-1 at home, not gonna win games like that, and too easy for the team to sit back!

Was read out as a 4-3-3 with Bouazza and Henry as Wingers, but it played out as a 4-5-1, or very often as a 4-6-0

He was injured, it was announced yesterday lunchtime, hopefully he'll be ok for saturday as he'll be the key needed to unlock their defence.

Reading are a good side and we were away from home losing a 2-0 lead was painful but was still a good point,,
throwing away a 2-0 lead at home to posh is a terrible result, and its now twice in 3 games.. its got to stop 28 shots at goal the game should have been beyond them at half time, yet it was only 1-0, Kenny has the money to do something about it we need a top marksman. no point dominating games without a finished product,,and also Kenny talks about the Josh, and Marquis combination as if they can only play alongside each other thats no good they have to play with other strikers, not just as a pair what good is that,,also maybe its time to give Forde a break. <whistle>

Yeah my dad was saying its time Mildenhall was given a chance. Forde's not had a good game this season.
And yeah mighty, thats exactly my thinking, Reading are a top team so its not a massive disappointment, but to lose a 2-0 lead at home to P'boro is very much a disappointment. Can't take too much away from them their passing, and especially their goal keeper, were very good, but thats because we let them play!
Josh McQoid excites me with his skill and control, and I think as soon as he gets a couple of goals in the league he'll be a different player, but as it is I agree can't have M&M up front because not enough experience.

Alan Dunne has always been one of my fav's down at the Den but he simply hasnt been good enough. Reading when we were 2-0 up rather than looking for a pass and retaining posesion it was a long punt forward every time, eventualy he punted, ball came back at us twice and they scored 2. Forest you could actualy see Mcgugan going to him with the ball as he was the weakest player. Luckily that game it didnt cost us. Last night he was again dismal. No patience in posesion. If Henry's not available straight in front of him he panicks and hoofs it he did it last night before theyre first goal. Play jack smith and give Dunney a rest. He dosent offer much going forward but Henry doesnt offer any thing defensivley so a decent combo. And Fordey needs to talk more, i dont know whats happend to him in pre season but hes like a mouse and that makes the defence doubt him. Alas, im sure he will regain form.

Great comment MG and likewise to add to it I'm beginning to wonder about replacing TC at LB, WTF was he thinking about skying the ball deep into injury time rather than keeping possession and he hoofs it up in the air time and time again. You can't fault his die hard spirit & commitment being our type of player but perhaps he's been found out at this level so it could be time to put pressure on his place by getting Jordan Stewart on the park for some match time. Was glad to see Dunney doing the common sense thing shepparding the ball out for a goal kick which is all he could do to atone for TC's **** up. <doh>

Got there in first injury time and went straight for a piss as I was busting so saw none of the first half, Bouazza's goal was quality the way he played it from one foot to the other to take out the defender and banged it home - that reminded me of Moro's goal at Colchester to open the scoring there two season ago. <ok>

    Morning m8
but your wrong we will beat Southampton, as they will be over confident and are in for a big shock, we are a good side
dominate games and create lots of chances, if we can go in at half time 8-0 up we might just hold on <laugh>

    And lose the negativity...

We are in a league up against clubs that pull in crowds of 30K plus, clubs that can afford to pay wages way above our price range and can buy players with a price tag in the millions..

Lets not start slagging off a team 3 games in who are infact still undefeated...

The line up last night wasn't amazing but what options did KJ have... really...

We drew away at Reading and ok threw away a 2 goal lead but everyone of us would have taken a point before the start..
We pulled off a good performance against Forrest and got the points deserved
Last night had their keeper not played a blinder.. we would have won at least 5 - 2.. And yes ok we threw away a two goal lead within the space of 5 minutes but we're 3 games in...We've scored 6 goals.... 5 points gained towards our safety net of 50...
Lets get to 12 games and then start wanted people's head's on sticks...
The season is going to be harder than last... give them credit where it's due..

On a total sickener... I can't make the game against the Vermin.... gggrrrrr
