I know the weathers nice but has anyone on the Gills board got time later, to write a proper match report for yesterdays game to post on our board?

    What I'm looking for is...

Someone that was actually at the game, good spelling, grammar (punctuation & paragraphs), no swearing or abuse aimed at any players or managers, just a decent balanced view/article, also no copying of reports from other media sources.

Any personal views on your day out/trip to Wimbledon, would also be welcome.

    Finally no smilies.

Just state on this thread and discuss between yourselves if you can do it, please don't wait for me to ok. I will then have another look back on the board later.

    thanks

great write up but you cant blame fish or richards for the third why whelpdale didnt put his foot through the ball and out of play even for a corner rather than passing it back to fish, and by back to him i mean somewhere in the general vacinity (like most of whelpdale and lees passing during the game) i'll never know. he gave fish no chance to do anything with it other than slice it horribly whilst trying to readjust his balance to a ball that he should never have had to deal with. just my view

Sorry if my detailed recollection was slightly inaccurate jokeykid. I thought Richards had got in a mess before Fish (completely involuntarily) punted it to Midson. Fish certainly was not the worst in that back line. However I think we are in close agreement on most of the facts and analysis of yesterday.

it wasnt a dig or anything, sorry if it seemed like that. just dont want him getting any bad press as i thought he came back and played well in the second half, releasing nouble well down the right a few times and great covering defending often from the right handside to the left hand side of the pitch when wombles tried to break as we pushed on
