Now that Arteta has been appointed as Arsenal manager, I would hope that this thread will be permitted to run. It is going to be fascinating comparing and contrasting the fortunes of Arsenal and Everton. Rookie vs old (successful) hand. I really do hope that Arteta can last an entire season. I wonder if he will be able to make Arsenal competitive for top 7? His first priority will be to not lose too much ground to Wolves.
Unai Emery says Arsenal are making "a good decision" by appointing Mikel Arteta to replace him as manager. (BBC Football news) I see that Emery is already getting in with the wummery!
First game for Arsenal under the Arteta regime is against Big Dunc's rejuvenated Everton. This is a match that Arsenal will be expecting to win comfortably with their new magician in charge. God help them if they lose.
A bit odd for anybody not to understand the difference between being offended (passively or otherwise) and merely being amused at the latest literary ineptitude and obsessional fixation (with all things Arsenal) of one of his fellow posters ... ... perhaps less odd that such a baseless comment got a 'like' from a clueless, inebriated, north eastern budget sausage muncher with a Fosse fixation
Arteta will get a good start (new manager bounce etc)...and that'll buy him time. Think he will prove to be a good manager... But hopefully not for the goons
Spurs fans hatred of Leicester is so cute. It literally stems from nothing other than Leicester winning something once and Spurs fans being pissed off, because for once the fates intervened to allow a ****house team become league champions, and the ****house team that was chosen WASNT Spurs and they feel top of the "****house clubs who win **** all" list, by self appointment, I might add.
