If this was £10m and whatever Arteta's salary was going to be, the way I see it, we are no longer paying the salaries of Fabregas or Nasri so if money was the stumbling block, why could we not afford Arteta? Sky Sports says the deal is off. Arsenal have withdrawn the bid. This is horrible. We behave as a mid table club trying to buy on a cheap players who are not wanted by big clubs.
