Come on, Benayoun may be pretty crap but at a time when our whole midfield is constantly getting injured. I would have taken him over Coquelin on Sunday, even though Coquelin did a fairly good job. And Arteta is a very good replacement for Fabregas AS LONG AS he can get back to his 2009 form.
Benayoun is a decent player, Arteta, if he comes back to form, is a classy player. Plus he's good at set pieces. Look foward to seeing him play for us.
Arteta, Benayoun, Park, Mertesacker and Santos between Monday and this evening. It's a step in the right direction and if we can avoid any slips-ups in the EPL, a Top 3/4 place is a distinct possibility, despite what Pool do.

Fabregas is pure class but we did not see him at his best last season for one reason or another, Nasri had half a good season in 3 years at arsenal and we have plenty of options in his position, Arteta and Benayoun are good signings who will def improve on what we had last season. I don't and i did not, but sh...it that sucks, Sell fabregas and Nasri get Benyaoun and Artita, wtf. Who ever believes/listens to what wenger says is an imbecile, the guy is lucky not to get sacked, do you reckon he keeps quiet and keeps making bullsh...it up cause he get's a cut of the clubs profit?
I think we've done very well. Arsene still has the power to suprise, we've mertesacker (who's taken the number 4 shirt) with 70+ caps for germany, Santos (number 11) with 20+ for brazil, Benayoun (number 30) Israel captain and huge number of caps, Arteta (number 8), no caps, but loads of premiership experience, Park Chu Young (number 9), south korea captain and talisman. I think thats a very good haul, and bargains too. Mertesacker was 8m, Santos 6.5m, Benayoun loan, Arteta 10m, Park 5m. Thats 30 million for 5 good players.

Fabregas was **** last season. Nasri was good for 3 months. end of story. And benayoun is not Nasri's replacement. Idiot, clearly showing your lack of knowledge in football.
Spurs fan with an olive branch... I think Arteta is a good signing. I am surprised he hasn't been signed earlier. Don't know whether he will replace Fabregas but he is a good creative player who will flourish with the players you have....
