Doesn't his contract run out by February 1st? We signed that guy on the last day of the 2008-2009 January transfer period, and I do believe it was a 4 year contract, not 5, so that would mean his contract ends in February, I don't see Arshavin having a future at this club really, but that is a sh!t time to lose a player, so maybe we should sign him on a new 1 year contract and try to sell him in the summer.
Pretty sure all deals done in January are for 6 months plus however many years , I'd like to see him play a bit more in cazorla's position (so as not to burn him out ) he seems to love it there for Russia
