He's having a go at us this morning saying we're spend money to win trophies and we don't promote young players either - http://www.skysports.com/football/n...r-questions-manchester-united-transfer-policy
Mind games Matth, mind games. Can't really moan about it as SAF was the best ever at mind games. Jose does try but often falls short, then has to do a u-turn to come out with a little credit. Wenger is quite good to be fair, but SAF was the master. Look what SAF did to Benitez ffs - nearly sent him to his grave!!
Go crazy on twitter for a few hours then make a you tube video, calling Wenger every name under the sun?
I don't get Wenger though, he said we're spending money to win trophies but ain't that what most teams do if they want to win the premier league.
This type of thing is as usual a non story, I don't see why any one gets worked up by them. I've no doubt that at some point van Gaal will piss off some opposing supporters, they all do. He gets asked a question at a press conference and offers his opinion, which he's entitled to do and it's what makes the world go round otherwise we're a bunch of ****ing zombies with no thoughts of our own. The press then add their own slant, put it into whatever context they think will get the biggest rise from the waiting masses, and people are then outraged or offended and their job is done. I like Wenger weirdly. Never thought I'd say that ten years ago but I think he's a decent bloke. He talks sense and I also like the way he quite clearly thinks Jose is someone he wouldn't piss on if he were on fire.
I love that picture. Everytime I see him with his thumbs up, looking like a prize lemon it brightens up my day
