... always good to hear it from an expert on the subject <whistle>

... you can't really argue against the fact that a counter attacking style not based on possession is bound to fail in Europe in the modern game ...

... oh wait ........ apart from perhaps Athletico Madrid? ... winning the Europa League in 2009-10 and 2011-12 ... and getting to the final of the Champion's League in 2013-14 and the final again this season ... still ... not a patch on the Gunners last 16 trophies <laugh>

Is there a bigger twat is football than this guy!

He thinks passing sideways is more important than scoring goals and winning games. The best moment of his career is beating Spurs to second and all he does is ruin promising England players careers by having been them at Injury FC. He has completely ruined Walcott, Wilshere and Chamberlain and I can understand why Arsenal fans want him gone. Can we have him deported?

... and none taken ... Arsenal thoroughly deserved to beat us at our place ... not so at theirs ... I think Arsene has a bit of a problem with anything that counters or potentially transcends his footballing philosophy ... I actually lke the bloke and have huge respect for what he has acheived in the game ... but the 'style' of football he is criticising in the article, as demonstrated by Atletico, clinically put Barcelona out of this season's Champions League whilst his own team and tactics were cruelly put to the sword by Barca... food for thought perhaps?

Horses for courses....Teams should have more than one way of playing, that for me
    is Wengers problem.

Why is Leicester's style supposed to be more physically demanding?
The players seemed to cope with it pretty well this season and they had very few injuries.
European football will be an additional demand, but that's true of every team.

I'd have thought that the way that they play would actually be helpful.
They don't need to adjust when playing the better sides, for a start.
Squad depth is an issue, but it's not Ranieri's first rodeo.

  8. I reckon the tag "Le Prof" was invented by Mourhino as a sarky piss-take.

I think Wilshere managed it without any help from Wenger

It's going to be a challenge, no sh$t sherlock! It's the elite of Europe not the Johnson's Paint Trophy.

The experts predicted we'd be relegated this year, which actually went quite well, so I suggest we just wait and see.

Thanks for the advice though Arsene....
