    Unlikely I would think; too much competition, too little progress.

    Why should? Because of their wage bill (bigger than Chelsea's, obviously nowhere near UNIT€D's

    Not with him there.

    Another manager with that set-up could compete with City, Chelsea and United every year for the title.

    Wenger is now counter productive.

  7. Because they have some fantastic players and play quality football but their manager is too stubborn to sharpen up at the back by buying a DM and CB, something people have been telling him to do for almost ten years!

    I obviously agree. As does London's biggest Manchester United fans via qprs away support.

  11. Sorry, EC, but this is the dumbest question you have ever asked, mate.
    <laugh>

    How on earth is a manager/coach who specializes in failure ever going to win anything of note. If they stick with Whinger, they will carry on exactly as they have done for the past ten years: scraping into the top 4, only to get humiliated by one of the big boys in the CL, at around the quarter final stage.

    Talk about boring Arsenal! So bloody predictable, you could set your watch by them, as my gran used to say.*

    *Actually, my gran never said this, and didn't know anything about football. If I'd ever said the word "Arsene" to her, she'd probably have called the police on me.

    Ah, Peskie. How are you old chap? I think you'll find that the major difference is that I can't recall our manager claiming we'd be champions by 2017 - of at all, in fact.

    Cheers, Same to you. Well, I think 'Arry had a point. We were not far away from being able to do it, with Modric, Bale, VDV. But, he got himself sidetracked by dreams of England glory ( as if! ) with the right players - right time, it's doable - as L'pool so nearly showed last season.

    Rubbish, you weren't even close. 15 or 20 points off the top even after football started in 2010, and ended in 201

    We were on the right track. Had we kept those players and strengthened, if was within our grasp. Nobody ever thought L'pool had a chance of winning the title, but they were only one Gerrard **** up away from doing it! So, I don't consider it rubbish at all.

    On the right track.... 15 points is a huge gap. Especially when doubling up in CL.

    You were two or three world-class first-reamers and two or three squad players off winning the league. Compare your squad to City's in 11/12 for example

    Again, disagree. You don't need 4-5-6 world class players to win a title. 1-2 can do it, if the rest of the team over performs and is balanced. I hate to keep bringing up the example of L'pool, but it's very relevant. They arguably only had one, two if you included a fading Gerrard.
