â@GeoffArsenal: Oh dear. Jack's season could be over. Hearing its ankle ligaments.â please log in to view this image We're ****ed. There goes 4th place.
I think he will be fit for Saturday, Wenger's just deciding not to risk him for Munich, and I agree with Wenger, the priority should be the league now, no use taking risks in this game where we have no chance.
What's to worry about if Wilshere's out? Remember, we have a very very strong in depth midfield so Wenger kept saying at the start of the season, ;-).
We shall see. Let's not believe the Twatter stuff from the same guys who have said **** and been wrong and wait for the club to make a statement
We've had some **** luck this season, coupled with an unhealthy dose of our own self inflicted wounds. The last thing we need is an injury to Wilshere. p.s How have you managed to get more red bars than A87 ?
The guy was in Dubai relaxing, I don't think they'd let him just go off on a holiday so quickly if the injury was this bad, he'd be off getting tests and what have you.
Actually provided rosicky could stay fully fit for the rest of the season this is one area that we are not to bad with regard strength in depth, its pretty much everywhere else on the field that we lack depth.
Richard Keys‏@tSKeysandGray Taking apologies from Trolls from this point on. Wilshere has a foot injury. I never put anything on here unless its true
So a knock pretty much that could rule him out of Bayern and maybe Swansea. Great job with the overreaction Geoff
Jack Wilshere is a major injury doubt for Arsenal's Champions League match at Bayern Munich on Wednesday due to an ankle problem. The midfielder has been recuperating in Dubai after suffering the injury against Tottenham nine days ago and is not expected to fly to Germany on Tuesday with the squad. Arsenal trail 3-1 from the first leg. Arsenal's manager, Arsène Wenger, will address Wilshere's fitness on Tuesday, when it should become clearer whether the 21-year-old is in danger of being ruled out of England's World Cup qualifying double-header in San Marino and Montenegro, which starts a week on Friday. Lukas Podolski hopes to play against Bayern, one of his former clubs, despite revealing on Twitter he has a slight injury. The defender Bacary Sagna is also a doubt. WHAT AN INSIGHTFUL ARTICLE. The lack of quotes and evidence sells it to me. How could I ever have doubted the hysteria because 1 guy on Twatter thinks he might have saw a pic of Jack in Dubai(which may have been from his PREVIOUS Injury)?
Do you think it may have something to do with the original Tweet being a load of ballocks I saw someone Tweet about Geoff on Sunday saying how good he was because he got it right about signing Monreal. The person forgot to mention the number of times Geoff has got it wrong
It kinda makes sense to send Wilshere away and not risk him for the Bayern game, because even Wenger knows that we have no chance of going through, the worry is that he might miss the Swansea game if what the papers are saying is true.
If that's true Wenger should rest all our starters against Munich. No way we win without Jack or Sczez. Knowing Wenger he will go in half-hearted, with a mixed squad, tire several starters out and still get embarrassed.
If it is true he is out for only a week then I am not too worried as Rosicky is more than capable (his 6 months last season is better/as good as I have seen Wilshere play for us) plus Wilshere has been poor the last few games and could do with a rest. If he is out for the season it is far more of a worry but like enigma said Rosicky if fit is as good as Wilshere is now.
