    Afternoon lads

Another Monday, another hangover from defeat on Saturday. You could of almost wrote Brucey's after match interview before we even kicked a ball on Saturday, "well we have to improve defensively and must move on to the next challenge". This speech is getting a bit too much of a common occurrance lately and I have completely forgotten what it is like to win a match. This run brings back memories from last season but we arent going to go there.

Anyways we have to move on I suppose to Arsenal this Saturday. With Fabregas, Van Persie, Walcott etc all out injured and Barcelona on the horizon you would think Brucey will have us motivated to the maximum to put a shift in down there and get a result but then again you could also see Arsenal's 2nd/3rd team beating us with another display similar to Everton. Either way we will learn a lot about some players Bruce has bought, will they just lie down and accept defeat or show some ****ing balls and produce a season changing display down at the Emirates? Nobody has a ****ing clue which Sunderland will turn up not even Bruce.

I hope the Chelsea smashing team turn up as I have my ticket and train down booked for 7am Saturday morning and would love to see a quality Sunderland performance which we all know we have in the locker. A win at Arsenal would put our season right back on track after the last month or so and we can forget about February and concentrate on smashing the **** out of everyone who stands in our way for the remainder of the season.

C'mon lads lets Have it down Arsenal! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Fingers crossed they didn't look that strong against Brum yesterday, just hope that we don't suffer abcklash from that.

The key against Arsenal is to rough them up, they dont like it and it gets under their skin, little bitches like Nasri and Fabregas start moaning and make mistakes.

Conceding 4 goals early on usually helps if you fancy a point aswell.

They have Orient in an FA Cup replay on Tuesday but I cant see them under estimating us, maybe orient but not us.

When you look at Newcastle's results on your signature Boot boy you have probably had a better season than us haha Howay Sunderland man please smash Arsenal 5-0 we are due a season defining performance

And it also helps if you can get a referee that gives you daft decisions which changes the game!

Of course, you are quite right, if Leon Bests legitimate disallowed goal was given we would have won 5-4 ;)

Had some pretty bad ones aswell though mate, the home defeats from Blackpool and Blackburn and the 5-1 loss at Bolton being the main ones.

Good to see both NE teams up there playing for a europe spot though, just hope we finish higher :)

Should really be a great game, Wenger is looking for a reaction and Bruce is always looking for a reaction so if they all react we could see a mass reaction. I should have a job on football focus with a roving role for sky.

Nice for someone to finally admit it! To be fair though I'd give it all for a European place!

As Geordie Boot Boys says the Gooners don't like getting it stuck up them (FnarFnar), Pity Catts isn't playing, and with Turner out for the rest of the season......Who do you think we have who can get stuck into them?

With regards to Froggy's comments I think Muntari should be able to get stuck in a bit more but we all know Henderson will just stand off and that is criminal against Arsenal, we will really miss Catts more than ever in this game. Steed has got a good ability to get stick in as well and he proved it against Chelsea at home where he was our best player.

The defence need to prove something this weekend as they were terrible against Everton, the way Arteta left Ferdinand on the floor and Mensah was also left sprawled out on the deck. Hope Onouha is back!

Anyone remember Bruce playing Ferdinand in central midfield this fixture last season? That was embarassing but could he do it again? haha

Well what a weekend, We lost AGAIN!, England beat france, Brum beat the Gooners and Luke D won a big golf game. Now what is the sad part of that sentence! It is now 4 in a row bye bye Europa you were only a dream (besides which Brum will have the spot!)
