Arsenal have been linked to several high profile players who are heading to Brazil this summer, some of the players are as follows:

• Balotelli
• Griezmann
• Remy
• Benzema

Who would be your main choice ? Can Wenger be the man to manage Balotelli successfully ?
Can Griezmann live up to the 'Pires' Comparison Wenger described him as ?

Balotelli could be a genius signing.

Or he could be a nightmare. He undoubtedly has bags of natural talent, but he is one lazy mofo and does nearly next to **** all in terms of working for the team. His play relies on players finding him to feet, which Arsenal could do, but personally I'd like us to sign a more mobile and hardworking CF. For me Mandzukic fits the bill perfectly.

goal.com are reporting remy has had extensive talks with spurs and has agreed in principle to join ... but is waiting until late july to agree as he is hoping arsenal sign him.

that's one hell of a way to piss off both sides of north london <laugh>

Yeah absolutely he's a risk. But for £20 Million I doubt there's not a more talented player on the planet.
I just wonder if Wengers fatherly approach to management could be the way to get the best out of him. He certainly managed to do it with RVP/Anelka.

Balotelli I think wants to be the main man (up front at least) and he would be with us. I don't think he was loved enough at City for his taste and there are all manner of issues in Italy, the racism thing in particular seems to be getting to him. At Arsenal he'd not only be our best striker but he'd be wanted/needed and he'd have Mesut-f*cking-Özil, Cazorla and Ramsey feeding him balls! It'd be glorious.

Or another classic Balotelli case of shenanigans.

....but they'd be heeee-larious shenanigans!

Might as well do this properly.

Ok so far we have been linked too..

Group: A

Brazil:
Luiz Gustavo - We almost signed him a year ago. Good box to box player, would certainly add some energy and solidity to our midfield.
Danilo- 22 year old right back. Plays for Porto. Looks an excellent prospect. Would be a good signing IMO
Matheus Simonete Bressaneli (Bressen) - Quality young defender.

Croatia:
Mandzukic - All round quality forward. Simular to Giroud though so he would directly replace him in our line up. Would be very happy if we signed him.

Group B:

Spain:
Iker Casillas - Would be a brilliant addition. I can't help but think we would relegate Sczezney to the No.2 spot though.
Javi Martinez - Apparently unhappy under Guardiola. Would be the perfect midfield signing for us.(unlikely)

Holland:
Daryl Janmaat - Personally think he would be an ideal candidate for our Right back position.
De Jong - Aggressive and experienced. Good player but not dissimilar to Flamini.

Group C:

Colombia:
Jackson Martinez - 60 goals in 91 apps for Porto says it all. Quick strong and awesome in the air. Looks well suited to the EPL.

Ivory Coast:
Serge Aurier - Looks close to happening. At 21 he has a quality prospect. I think he will make a lot of errors in his first Season though. (he's a bit 'raw')
Bony - Not a bad striker. Decent backup option. Strong and hardworking. Not going to set the World alight though.

Japan:
Uchida: Yet another RB we have been linked too. Great technically but I'm not sure how he would handle the EPL.

Group D:

England:
James Milner: Meh..Not a huge fan but he's versatile and hardworking.

Italy:
Lorenzo Insigne - Versatile forward. Quick and skilfull. Benitez wants £20+ Million for the youngster.

Uruguay:
Cavani - In terms of technical talent one of the best strikers in World football.

Group E:

France: (sigh...)
Karim Benzema - A long term target of Arsene's. Would be a very good addition.
Griezmann - Just had an excellent Season in Spain. He reminds me of Eden Hazard with pace.
Loic Remy - France's third choice striker. Good finisher, average all rounder. He's like the French Jermaine Defoe.
Debuchy - Decent option at Right back. Has EPL experience.
Sneiderlin - Solid defensive midfielder.

Group F:

Argentina:
Di Maria - Just had an excellent Season at Madrid. Can play in a variety of positions. Quick feet and an eye for goal. Top Class.
Mascherano - Still got a few years in him. Quality holding midfielder.

Bosnia:
Edin Džeko - Averaged better than 1 in 2 at City. Surely would be tempted by regular first team football.

Group G:

Germany:
Julian Draxler - Tall, skillfull and the current golden boy of German football. We have tried to sign him in the past.
Mathias Ginter - Can play DM or CB - Physical beast. Would be a great addition.
Lars Bender - Top Class Box to Box player. A natural leader.
Sami Khedira - Excellent defensive midfielder and best friend of Mesut Ozil. Real are willing to sell.

Group H:

Belgium:
Lukaku - Mourinho would never let him join us.. but he would be a great signing IMO. World Class potential.

Impressive Bear!!

I am really interested to see what Wenger does now that it is clear the squad has definite need for improvement, he cannot deny that, plus he has the money to spend now.
As good a player as Ozil is, I was a little baffled as to why you signed him to be honest. His appointment didnt really address the issues facing your squad.
Lets see if Wenger does address them this summer.....if he does, it should make for a better season next time. Its always better with more teams in contention till the end.
