Seriously!? You cannot raise your hands to another player. Jack was silly reacting but elneny did exactly the same. Rescind jacks if you rescind his.

I was lucky. When I read that article I couldn't become angry as I became distracted by the poor woman on the right apparently suffering from explosive diarrhoea.

To be fair that isn't a red. He pushed him, but not with the force Stephens did. Right to overturn it.

No he didn't. Stephens shoved Wilshere to the ground. Elneny gave Cedric a little push. Sorry but Stephens offence was worse than Elneny's.

I agree, Stephena’ offence was worse, but the FA have made the whole situation worse by absolving Elneny.

Honestly, that wasn't a red IMO. He gave him a little push. If he pushed him full on in the face then yes it's a red card but from what I could see it was more the shoulder area.

What about that Harry Migiuire one the other day. Where the little guy (was it Nathan?) was pulling his shirt for a full seven seconds, so Harry gets frustrated and shoves him. Then all the players surround the ref demanding a red, and he produces a yellow. All I could think was, 'why the hell didn't the ref blow for the obvious foul and stop any debate in the tracks.'
    Stupid refs.

Pretty sure he pushed Cedric in the face, no?

Should it be a red? No. Is it a red by the letter of the law? Yes. Raised hands into opponent's face. No debate if you are going by rules alone which is precisely why the ref responded with a red after talking to the linesman who saw it. A disgraceful example of double standards.

You still think Wilshire’s attempt to throw Stephens to the ground in addition to the shirt pulling and ripping was only a yellow though Tom, so I’m not sure that I’ll take any notice of you on that.

It wasn’t as bad as Stephens but he still raised his hands. Either end of the spectrum it’s still a red.

If only refs blew for a player having his shirt ripped off his back, then Jack wouldn’t have got frustrated.
From what I saw the arsenal player raised his hands into Cedric’s face - red under the letter of the law ......
