Just found out Martin Atkinson is the referee for this game. Great.

We've had a red card or conceded a penalty In every game that he's officiated this season. He's also handed out more cards to Arsenal than any other team.

Can't wait...

 

No Smith-Rowe or Tomiyasu in today’s squad. That’s a huge blow to us. Our top-goalscorer and arguably our best defender missing.

Jimenez should have made it 2. We’ve completely lost our cool since Wolves have scored. Gabriel and White are all over the place.

 

We’ve started to wrestle control of the game and had a few decent chances but Wolves blocked them.

We’ve made it so hard for ourselves gifting them that stupid goal.

 

We’ve been a lot better in the last 10 mins, but that nervous pass from Ramsdale when he wasn’t under much pressure shows we still have the capability to self-implode.

 

Thomas Partey is the worst shooter of a football I think I've ever seen.

 

We've been the better side but Lacazette's inability to finish is a real problem.

We were a lot better after the dodgy opening 15 minutes but we haven’t tested Sa enough and our shooting accuracy is terrible.

Also, Gabriel and White’s passing has been well under par. Almost got us in trouble at a few moments (in Gabriel’s case, one of his dodgy passes did get us into trouble).

Wolves haven’t played particularly well. We’ve just not been good enough to take advantage of their sloppiness. However, we need to be much more ruthless in the final third.

Atkinson is letting them get away with a lot, though. Knew when he was appointed we’d get nothing from him.

Lacazette really is also such a poor striker. How he ever cost so much money is bizarre. At least Partey is good at what he does but poor at something we don't need him for.

 

At least no chance of him getting a new contract! Lyon are welcome to him next season..
