Last home game of the season, and another must win. And hopefully with a little help from our mates Stoke, we can secure our place in the top four with a win over Wigan on Tuesday night.
Yes, and if we get it, hopefully our players do not think that's enough and therefore decide to just pass it to each other without going nowhere for the rest of the game.
Somebody mentioned it the other day, that Wenger should make a point about our record when Dean is referring our games, so that the media pick up on it and put pressure on him to ref the game in a fair way, rather than using it to express his hatred of Arsenal. The stats with him in charge are ludicrously against us, there's no way that can be paranoia or coincidence.
wigan seem very compact in defence, which is something we usually struggle against. atm in the fa cup, man city are not attacking at all fast enough. they are building up far too slowly, something we are very guilty of most of the time, and then allowing wigan to counter attack.
Cup Final is still 0-0. That's the best result for Arsenal. Wigan already played midweek, if they play 120 today they'll be flat out by 70min on Tue - 2 of Oxo / Theo / Gerv to come on & give it beans then
Thankfully that didn't pan out. They were pretty good today, hoping they take that form into the game at the Emirates! They must be on a high from this.
Hopefully, either Gibbs or Monreal do not allow McManaman as much space as that dopey idiot Clichy did. Just backed off him all game.
Why did Mancini take off Tevez for Rodwell? Anyway, I fancy us to beat Wigan at the Emirates no matter how well they play. They will be knackered though, no question about it.
If Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle each get a point today then Wigan go down before we meet them - that may, or may not, having a bearing on how they play. In any event, we need to win that match, so Wenger and Bould need to send them out fired up. Hmmm....
