Last match thread of the season, and the most important. Biggest Arsenal game for ages and we just have to win, anyway, anyhow, we just have to win.

Should be a cracking game, although atmosphere will be lacking because only about half the people in the stadium will be actual fans for the 2 teams.
    Still, can't wait for it.

I would start, and I think Wenger would too, Arteta instead of Flamini. He keeps the ball better (something we will need to do) and won't get a stupid red card (something we can't afford).

anyone notice Germany have a friendly with Poland 4 days before the FA Cup final? Surely Per, Ozil and Poldi aren't gonna be called up, are they?

Seeing as the German Cup final is also next Saturday, I can see all players involved in either of those 2 matches being left at home for the pointless friendly.

For my team I'd have Arteta ahead of Flamini, and Fabianski ahead of Shez.

Likewise but with Fab playing on Sunday it looks almost certain that Chezzers will start.

Arteta to start. The Wembley pitch is very large & Arteta has much better positional sense. Flamini is good on small pitches where he can recover if he gets his position wrong. Arteta all the way in this one for me.

    ----------Szcz---------
    Sagna--mert--Kosc--Gibbs
    -----Arteta---Ramsey---
    Cazorla----ozil---podolski
    ------------giroud--------

If they are all fit. And then we have rosicky, wilshere, oxocube, diaby, flamini - a good selection of different types of player depending on what the game needs.

Highly unlikely we'll have 5 predominantly central midfielders on the bench, but apart from that I like your team.

Bench will be Fabianski, Vermaelen, Flamini, Wilshere, Rosicky, Chamberlain, Sanogo.

If Vermaelen is still unfit, then Monreal will be on the bench.

Another point on the team, anyone think Wenger might stick with Sanogo for this one? I know it sounds stupid, as its the FA cup final, but Norwich would have been the perfect time to rest Giroud and play Sanogo, but he didn't do that. Thoughts? I personally do not want him to start. Not ready yet, and not sure if he ever will be based on what I've seen of him.
