I optimistically predicted a win but with this line up this game has draw written all over it

Pretty good trio of subs coming on.

Typically Rice and Partey can't get no rest though.:emoticon-0107-sweat

    Well, that wasn't great.

Similarly to Everton, we played well enough to win but didn't do enough in the final third to make it count.

It's immensely frustrating at how many times this season we've been in winning positions, yet not gone on to win the match. We drop far too many points from when we're leading. It's just not good enough.

And 2 wins from 7 in the league is a major worry for me.

We have 63 points with 6 games left, so we should - in theory - still be safe for a CL spot next season. But we're not making life easy for ourselves. I want to at least be safe in the knowledge that we've got CL wrapped up, but don't think we're there yet.

After Madrid midweek, we have Ipswich away next and I'm not confident we'll even win that.

Come off it. Top 5 is nailed on. These games don’t matter and you can tell they’re only thinking about Real. If we go out the CL then the remaining league games for us are going to be so dull. Watching football that doesn’t matter at all is so boring.

Even if you're right, do you really think it's acceptable at how badly we've performed in the league this year? We've dropped points in 46% of our games. You can attribute that to injuries, unlucky finishing, xG underperformance, bad refereeing etc, but the simple fact is, that is just too many points dropped if you're serious about a title challenge.

Our lackadaisical/sloppy league form will only be worth it if we can get to the CL final (and win of course).

Our league form has just been so miserable and frustrating.

If we win tomorrow and Wednesday we're only 4 points behind you lot and we still get to beat you again.

    A few ifs but hey.
