But, as the boss says, if we don’t try we won’t get anything. The players have to show the same level of quality that we did against Everton in our previous match and anything less won’t be good enough. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image “Should we win all our remaining eight games I think we have a chance of winning the League.” “Our target is to win the remaining games. Thanks OFH . Travelling down for my first away game of the season tomorrow. Pundits seem to be totally writing us off mainly due to our win and not being able to be repeat he feat etc. The good news is we will have more fight than against Stoke. I think we could just get something here so I'm going for 1-1. COYH!
Nice one OFH, 5'*'s from me. Cannot make the game as I am still in Chicago and will be watching the game live ( with a bit of a time delay) on the TV - can watch it in a bar downtown, but it's a bit too early for a beer even for me! I fee a bit of a back lash drubbing, but I think we will hold out for a 0-0 draw - so you can have my 3-1 H this time H.
Thanks Señor Francias. Now then, I dind´t expect a win in the cup game and I don´t for this one either. We can´t play as badly as Stoke at home, so there MUST be an improved performance here. I´d take a draw! COYHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are going by train to Arsenal tomorrow hopefully back home quicker than our trip to Spurs by club coach. Might leave a little early if 3 or 4 down!!
thanks as ever for the great thread . I too expect a drubbing but in my heart we are going to win 2-1 (3-1 is probably pushing it lol). I just hope we show some of our early season promise, it's been dull as dishwater since christmas!
I recommend The Parcel Yard at Kings Cross station for a pre match pint in a civilised environment. Decent tucker in there too. There's a record fair and a "brewers market" (natch, beer festival) at Spitalfields so that's my pre match activities planned.
Will be socialising with friends this afternoon so will be with you in spirit. Just hoping for a decent 100% effort performance whether we come away with any points or not - like we have played the majority of our games. COYH!
Totally agee, scullion. It's not the result (if you don't have to watch the points of course - I'm sure our canary friend would settle for undeserved three points ), it's being proud of the lads for giving their best.
Rather a defensive line up this afternoon - understandably. Berghuis back in the squad - he must have improved in training.
GUNNERS: Ospina (GK); Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Elneny, Coquelin; Sanchez, Ozil, Iwobi; Welbeck. Subs: Cech (GK), Gibbs, Chambers, Mertesacker, Walcott, Campbell, Giroud
Here we go... COYH! Good to see Dyche's team grabbed a last minute draw after having a clear goal not given.....
Villa's calamitous result today means that we are guaranteed our highest ever finish in the Premiership. Celebration time...
