In the 1980s a MP called Geoffrey Howe resigned from Thatcher's government. He made a speech laying into Thatcher which led to one of her supporters claiming he was so wet that his dig at Thatcher was as scary as being mauled by a dead sheep. Their followed lots of guffawing the ensuing dead sheep shagger jokes. Arsenal failed to find anything to laugh at after their mauling at the home of the sheep shaggers on a wet and windy Tuesday night in Wales...but the rest of us managed a chuckle ... or two! You now face Fat Sam's Everton so on with the neck braces and as Rooney is in town lock up your grannies. Everton have recently bought a speedy winger with a great eye for goal which is something Arsenal have been searching for for some time This is a must win game as you are current 8 points off 4th place and either spurs or Liverpool will drop points as they meet at Anfield this weekend. Arsenal may well decide to give up on the prem and concentrate only on winning the EL to get CL football next year...which makes it weird that they got rid of 2 strikers and a winger who could play in the EL and bought 1 striker and 1 winger who can't as they are cup tied...comical...but weird. You beat Everton 5-2 away earlier in the season so this shoild be a piece of cake as Everton are shocking away from home having not won an away game in London since November 30th 1893...which was in Woolwich in Wengers first season at Arsenal There is a lot of optimism at Arsenal after the signing of he with a name that I can not spell...here's hoping he is another Frannie Jeffers or Chamakh. The tactics will involve Walcott desperately trying not to be **** and Arsenal trying go keep Xakah as far away from the ball as possible. My prediction is that Fat Sam will bleat like a sheep at a Welsh stag do about some imagined refereeing injustice while desperately keeping his brown manilla envelopes hidden while Wenger will be enjoying a Wenger in weekend. In a rare moment of Norf London camaraderie I would like to take this moment to say... Chelsea
Aubameyang looks like he’s going to have to wait to make his debut as he’s got flu. We need to keep Walcott quiet today too. He scored two in midweek and looks hungry for goals again. Will be a strange afternoon for him playing for the oppo.
Aubameyang...rarely misses a game ... turns up as a gooner and is immediately out with flu God really does hate you lot sometimes
He has got to keep up the impression that he had the flu, he missed a court case because of it! Just read he is starting. LOL! looks like he will start with Iwobi and then go with Wilshere or Lacazette depending on how the game is going. Wish Wenger had the balls to go with Wilshere from the off, but there you go.
They have played 3 and a quarter matches against Norf London and have nil points, scored 2 and conceded 15
Love the way they stop the film about 3 frames after he plays the ball, and go, "Clearly Offside". What a bunch of twats!
4-0. HT. Wow, we have been absolutely rampant! Excellent one-touch football, swift passing, electric pace and brilliant movement all over the pitch. We could easily have been 6 or 7 up! Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan and Ozil have been superb. Just wish we could perform like this away from The Emirates... Also, doesn't anyone else find it hilarious that Allardyce in his pre-match comments called us 'defensively weak', then his team concede 4 goals in the first half? . This is a rout. Allardyce looks like a total fool now!
Wum **** up from Fat Sam Love the way that Mhkitaryan has been pulling the strings and creating chances, he reminds me of Ljungberg/Pires style of player
Anyone missed lacazette? Will be tough for him now. Would not be surprised if we sell him this summer.
Bit early for that isn't it ? He's going to struggle to hold down a place with Aubameyang in the team, but I think there's room for both of them personally. I'd play him ahead of Iwobi if he's up for going out on the left. Was really impressed with Mkhitaryan today. As mentioned he reminds me of Pires/Ljungberg type of player. Very direct and always looking to drive the ball forward.
That ball was on Mkhitaryan's foot a long time. The laws of the game say nothing about when the ball leaves the foot, just that you have to be level when the ball is played. They need to stop the film when his foot makes contact with the back of the ball.
Playing a striker as a winger for a cost of 50million? Then I rather sell him, get Malcom and a young striker as a backup (more plan B type player).
