According to Matt laws of the Sunday mirror arsenal intend to implement a new rule stating once a player enters the final two years of his contract it will be binding upon him to sign an extension or risk being sold. Should this be true I think it's about time we undertook measures to avoid these long drawn summer transfer sagas.
Sounds fairly obvious. How about...offer to open negotiations with 2 & half years to go, if no deal signed by the start of the Summer, sell immediately?
