was the headline in the Telegraph today - page 55. A clearout of peripheral first-team players to release funds for purchases.... ....although finding buyers is likely to be difficult given the generosity of some of the contracts. by Jeremy Wilson - - - - well Jezza -you been reading our discussions, have you?
I find it encouraging that many of the things we have called for seem to be coming into play. Of course I am sure its not down to us ... just down to good old commom sense.
IT IS down to us. Everything we asked for or said is happening. The club have been monitoring Not606, don't listen to what anybody tells you, WE saved Arsenal, not the deniers
Actually, I know Arsene and I got tired of the moaning so I told him we should do what you guys want. So I saved Arsenal not you.
Actually, Arsene told me that he's so amused by Jayram and Hothead's hissy fits that he's deliberately not made any changes until now, because he finds their rants so entertaining. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
We already got rid of Almunia if we get even get rid of half of the dross i would be happy as it shows we are trying to get rid of them. Hopefully the following will at least go as well: Squllachi Denilson Arshavin Bendtner Or we can add the likes of Chamack, Vela, Park, Fabianski, Djourou i would be even more happy.
I think the priority should be Squishy, Denilson, Vela and Chamakh. These guys are truly no good for us (Denilson has been ok but offers nothing more). The rest, well, we can use them as training cones, freekick walls, magic sponge carriers....
I would keep Chamakh for another season just to give him one last chance but I would get rid of the rest you mentioned including Denilson who will not getting into our team now especially with the likes of Frimpong and Coquelin now ahead of him in the pecking order.
Mr Wenger just told me that he's surprised that you're so cheery today - and he asked if he could have some of what you're having
there's nothing like a bit of 'friendship' before breakfast to set a man on a cheery disposition for the day ahead.
It's one thing wanting the players gone - it's another entirely actually getting another club to part with the £££. Haven't Arsenal been trying to get rid of some of their guff like Denilson for 2/3 seasons now? Same with us and Jenas/Bentley
