Arsenal set to move for QPR midfielder Posted by Sam Rourke ⋅ April 1, 2014 ⋅ Leave a comment Filed Under arsenal, qpr, taarabt Arsenal are set to move for QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt who is currently on loan at AC Milan, according to Football Direct News. The Gunners have been linked with the Moroccan midfielder in the past, and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is thought to be keeping a close eye on the 24 year-oldâs performances. However, Arsenal will have to fend off heavy interest from AC Milan, who are keen to sign Taarabt on a permanent deal in the summer. Taarabt could be off to Arsenal Taarabt could be off to Arsenal It is almost inevitable that QPR will offload Taarabt along with a few other players in the summer, to help reduce the astronomical wage bill they have amassed. âAt the moment I think heâll stay at Milan,â an Arsenal club source explained. âBut Wenger is looking at him, as he has done in the past. If he keeps playing well I think we could make an offer
The more the merrier. Come on, roll up, roll up. Let's have a bidding war. The more we can get for the likes of him and Remy the more chance we have of surviving as a club, regardless of which division we are in.
Adel has started the last 2 games for Milan, played for all but 10 minutes in the first, and full game for the second, two desperately needed wins for Seedorf.
Whatever happens I hope Adel doesnât come back. He doesnât care and we donât need anymore creative players capable of playing football at the top level. Harry was right all along. Iâm glad that instead we had Will Keane up front and BAE on the wing on Saturday. They care about the club so much and create so many chances and goals. I mean Will Keane would never have AC Milan interested in him let alone sign him but he does run about a lot. Also he plays for Man United you know⦠well he is owned by them Also glad we replaced Adel with a temporary loan signing like Kranjcar, heâs fatter, lazier and less able to score goals and create chances. Best of all we donât own any of theose players and so will never benefit from any sell on value. Cant believe it took me that long to see the light. Good stuff Arry The football this year has been turgid unimaginative but with lots of effort and long balls. Just what we 4-4-2 merchants like. No time for creativity and risk taking. Play the safe pass. Have it!!
He's been playing well, keeping it much more simple than he did with us but then again at Milan there are others who share the creative burden. Keeping Robinho on the bench too (not that I rate Robinho).
Top comment. Arsenal really, come on wake up. Must have been the great performances he put in at Fulham that convinced Wenger
That 2 clubs with managers in "last chance saloon" are looking desperately for help....!! As for PD's post...wonder why no other Prem team apart from Foolham (managed by his previous manager) wanted him.... Maybe Adel was the star and SAF & co know nothing at all....comical..!
