Prediction League Arsenal Prediction League 2015

hi all. i have volunteered to admin the 2015 league, and all are welcome to join in.

The Rules

each member will make a prediction before match kick off and will predict the score and name the scorers.

each member will then earn 2 points for predicting correct result [ie arsenal win].

each member will then earn an additional 3 points [ie 5 in total] if they predict the correct scoreline [ie arsenal 3 palace 0].

if a member earns 5 points as above then they will earn additional bonus point per each correctly named scorer.

so if you don't get scoreline correct you can only get 2 points as you won't get any bonus points for naming scorers, if you get scoreline correct you will get a minimum of 5 points and you can get additional points for naming the scorers.

as its the first week of the season you can also submit a prediction for league position at xmas and end of season, for champ league position, fa cup position, and league cup position. each correct prediction will earn bonus of 10 points. so 50 points available and will be added to your total at end of season.

We get a point for each correct player scored? So let's say I predict 3-0, and I say Giroud, Cazorla, and Arteta score, but only Giroud scores, do I get one additional point for getting predicting him to score on top of the 2 points I get for correct result?

You only get points for the correct scorers if you predict the correct result,at least this has been the rule in the past.

If u predict 3 0 and arsenal win 2 0 then u get 2 points for correct result only.
If arsenal win 3 0 then u get 5 points in total plus any additional points earnt for each correctly named scorer. So on your example u would get 6 points

Ok keep them coming. You will be able to make or change a prediction up to kick off on Saturday but once game starts then that's it.
I will keep all the extra predictions for Xmas and end of season and FA and league cups and champs league and will repost them as a separate thread so we can all remember how good or bad we were at beginning of season. The closing day for these extra predictions is Saturday 530 as well.
