***Arsenal prediction league - 2012/13***

This is the 2nd season of the hugely popular prediction league.

Congratulations to SJW for winning the title last year

Wenger has strengthened the squad this season with some exciting players, but we have lost our top goalscorer. We have a new coaching set up and there's been a lot of change at Arsenal over the summer, so can we improve on our 3rd place finish last season ?

There are extra points up for grabs this season, so make sure you read the rules below

The rules:


* 5 points exact scoreline

* 2 points correct result

* 1 bonus point for each goalscorer named
(Awarded if the exact score is predicted, includes opposition players)

* Bonus 5 pts for correctly predicting our league position at Christmas
* Bonus 10 pts for correctly predicting our final league position

* Extra bonus 5 pts for correctly predicting both positions


Predictions and amendment can be made up until kick off. Any made after KO will not count.

Predictions for bonus points for league positions must be in before the end of the summer transfer window

I thought this was on another thread? A few of us made predictions elsewhere.

OK, here was mine;

Arsenal:3
Sunderland:1

Position at Christmas: 4th
Position at end:3rd

I can't remember who i had as the scoreres, i think i picked Theo to get 2, but i can't remember who else.

 

Yeah, just a bit of housekeeping fella

We've got all the predictions in order . . . well SJW has anyway

 

I think you will finish above Spurs and Pool, if that is any help

 

no one thinks RVP will score a goal

 

I think Arsenal, Utd and Chelsea will all push each other for 2nd this season.

 

All those predictions from the other thread are in that table. I will put up the predictions of our positions up on the OP, as soon as everyone has finished giving their prediction.

 

Did not look match fit the other day. Doubt he will play even if he is still an Arsenal player by then.

 

He might pop up in a few predictions if he's on the team sheet for Sunderland

Remember you can change your predictions up until 15 mins before KO.

But don't do it too often cos it will give SJW a ****in' headache

 

Okay, my scorers will be Theo (2) and Giroud for us. We'll concede at a set piece to a Larsson free kick.

I don't think Arsenal will win this won to easily at all, new signings might take a couple of games to gel properly. Should have to much for sunderland though so went with a 2-1.
