The word on the presses is that if we get De Boer, he'll bring Denis Bergkamp with him as his assistant coach. I always rated Bergkamp and thought his flair was wasted at Arsenal. I can imagine that he'd bring players like Holtby, Eriksen, and Lamela along very nicely. Also, I've heard that Bergkamp was a Spurs supporter when he was a boy, so this could finally see him make his dream move to his "schoolboy" club. What do you guys think? Would you welcome Bergkamp to the fold? I certainly would.
I think watching him celebrate like it was Christmas when he coaches our lads to beat the Gunners would probably convince even the most hardened cynic among us that he is, now, Spurs through and through. He and Ade could power-slide in mute celebration over to the Arsenal end, arms raised aloft in glory, as the bottles of piss rain down on their heads. I think we'd all love him, then.
It's funny, but they're all in denial on the Gooners' board. They genuinely believe that Bergkamp would turn down the opportunity to work with the mighty Spurs! I think De Boer and Bergkamp would be a good fit for us.
a fish is someone that has bitten , i have merely pointed that your rod , line and bait are all invisible , no one will bite . but good luck son . as weak as Ade and Paulinhos wall .
Leave him alone mate , these little threads are all he has now. The juggernaut crashed , the powerboat had a leak and never left the harbour . Bale , who he said would never leave , is at another club and in the CL final. Soldildo and his chums are clearly duds. The New manager turned out to be the damp squib of the century It takes a non story about an Arsenal legend to get his juices flowing . carry on HIAG lad , dip your bread in .
That guy was a liar with no class. Bergkamp is all class and would be joining a classy club. I expect he'll manage Ajax if FDB leaves though.
Duplicitous, self deluded, self centred scumbag of the highest order. I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.
I'd love to see bergksmp given a shot at managing Ajax, he has done great work there and is a classy man. Seems suited to management to me, provided he can deal with his fear of flying!
I don't think Bergkamp is ready to take over at Ajax, not yet. A spell at another club as assistant to De Boer would do him a treat. Bergkamp would be loved, here; we'd make him feel at home. Plus, I doubt that any true Gooner would begrudge one of their stellar legends a shot at managing at a top club like us, even if it is as assistant.
