Following the Christmas and New Year festivities boring January is suddenly lifted to great heights of expectation as the Headline Game returns. Your chance to prove how good (or bad) you are at writing headlines to capture the essence of the game and to evoke the public into buying your paper (or in reality voting for your headline). Can you sum up in one snappy, punchy and relevant headline what everyone else felt or feels about the match. Did McClaren blow it in his team selection or were we robbed by poor referring decisions. Now is the time to tell all in true Obi confessions time. Rules for those who are interested are as follows: Rules as before: 1. One entry per person. 2. Submissions to be made by 9.30pm Thursday 07/01/2016 3. If more than 4 submissions then there will be an initial vote where the top 4 will then go to a second and final vote. 4. Trevor's arbitrary decisions are final with no appeal or whining allowed. Also coming soon'ish the updates on the outstanding Headline Games!!
Mines a clear improvement... As it mentioned both teams... Ergo if I don't at least beat you then we know this game is definitely fixed
Fixed? That's a dangerous and wild accusation to make when the outcome relies solely upon the Public votes.
So, Bisc me old matey, keep me right on this one. What you are essentially saying is Bisc = The Public. Again, have to say, a bit presumptuous on your part Bisc to say that you are the voice of the People. Any evidence to back up this somewhat unlikely claim?
