    Evening all

Not been on for a while hope everyone is well.

Anyway just a few points that I feel are worth bringing up.

Firstly Brown's error. Im not going to slate the guy for a mistake as he has arguably been our best player for a season and a bit. I understand the philosophy of playing out from the back but to be fair both Brown and Oshea are not what I would call footballing centre halfs they are both from the old school of defending amd I think we often put too much pressure on these guys by constantly passing the ball back to them often with strikers sprinting towards them. I play full back Sunday morning standard and the worst thing is to receive a ball with a striker or runner sprinting straight toward you as although it may appear like you have time you dont if your first touch isnt perfect your in trouble. Browns only mistake was not hitting row z with it after a slightly dodgy first touch.

Another point is all of our football is infront of the opposition. No one runs beyond the striker making whoever is playing upfronts job almost impossible. I don't know if this is being coached into them to keep shape but given Poyets own playing style as an attacking midfielder I would be very surprised if this was the case. 20 minutes in yesterday I was crying out for Whickham to come on and play with Fletcher as we needed 2 up top to give them something to think about. For christs sake monreal was playing centre half and had the most comfortable game of his life. Surely someone from our coaching team must have seen we were getting nowhere and needed an extra body up the field. Even when Altidore came on it looled like Whickham went and played wide. We seem to be stuck in this slow based possession football with no real urgency to do anything with the ball. Arsenals defence has been exposed this season and we gave them a free ride all afternoon we had zero threat all game.

Finally Buckley does not look upbto the task of Premiership football atvthis moment in time. He looked lost yesterday and gave the ball away almost every time he got it. Yeah he runs around and tries but there is no end product at all. He reminds me of jonas guttierez minus the ability to buy free kicks every time he is touched. I think 20 mins or so at the end of games would be best for him at present to try and get him up to the pace of this league. Hopefully Giaccherini and Alvarez are back soon and can inject a bit of spark into us or I just can't see where we are going to score goals and subsequently win games.

We need to go to Palace and be strong. Hopefully we can score a goal and at worst get a draw cos if we lose that one we are already playing catch up. We are paying for drawing to many games early doors now as although we looked hard to beat we didn't get enough points on the board and are already looking up at teams pulling away from us.
