Walcott a doubt as well as 10 weeks out for Diaby....

Whenever the gooners have played us, we have never managed to handle Walcott, and with Diaby out now for 10 weeks

Surely we stand a chance of winning our first home game..? --> Saying that, no doubt Gervinho will play and score a hat trick against us. <yikes>

i'll be glad if walcott's out, would be better if fabregas went as well and they didn't have a replacement in

I'm confident so long as Barton is fit. I'm tipping him to have a blinding season

I like to remain optimistic and say we'll win, but the top teams usually all start strong

With Cabaye, Barton and Tiote, we could probably outplay them at their own game, scary thought that!

Mata could tear most teams a new one. So hopefully you sign him a few days after our game. <whistle>

Dont want to have to face RVP, Gervinho & Mata. Would be a nightmare.

If we still have enough fit to name this team then I am confident we can beat them:

    Harper
    Simpson Taylor Coloccini Enrique
    Barton Cabaye Tiote Jonas
    Gosling
    Ba

Confident that Jose can handle Gervinho, not sure Simmo will be able to stop Mata though. Hopefully Nasri or Fabregas (or both) will have left by then <ok>

    Krul
    Simmo - Saylor - Colo - Jose
    Cabaye - Tiote
    Barton - Jonas - Marveaux
    Ba

Jonas played one of his best games of the season when he played off the striker against Chelsea, worth a punt there!

Would be happy with this team too :). I reckon Gosling deserves a chance though if he keeps up his good form against Leeds and Fiorentina.

I'd sub Gosling for Cabaye and drop Barton back into Cabaye's position about 60 mins in <ok>

Yeah, hopefully Gosling's energy would make him a good impact sub. Hopefully we won't need to take Cabaye off though as he will be running the game and making Wilshere look silly ;)

I wouldn't want to take Barton or Tiote off though, I reckon they're still having nightmares about those 2. Also the counter attack would be immense with the pace of Jonas and Marveaux <ok>

That does have a good look about it & I would be well happy with that to see how it goes, only problem is of course Jose will of moved on, and Stroller will probably start up top :)
