Arsenal fans reach a new low

They are now officially accusing Phil Dowd of match fixing, of course the only reason for letting a 4-0 lead slip.

    http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/30871-Phil-Dowd-Could-Be-Investigated-For-Match-Fixing

We might have been unhappy with some decisions by officials over the years, but this sinks the Goonies to an all time low in my opinion.

EDIT: The latest "rumour" on this is Interpol are investigating Rosicky on suspicion of match fixing. Oh the irony if it's true will be too much to handle <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Interpol are thinking about investigating Dowd, the rosicky is a mistranslation but if he is involved then he deserves to burn.

To be fair the Arsenal fans are only quoting some dodgy French rag, which says Rosicky might be investigated for match fixing:

    http://www.footanglais365.com/premier-league/article_495916_Newcastle-Arsenal-Interpol-enquete.shtml

Although interestingly, the original article only mentions Rosicky - no mention of Dowd. Which implies that either theres some other credible source out there which hasn't been mentioned...or some bitter Arsenal fans may have decided to drag yet another referee into their conspiracy bs.

Rosicky has been match fixing for as long as I can remember. Talk about a waste of space.

Swarbs is right. The original article does not mention Dowd only Rosicky. Its all typical Arsenal guff. Anything doesn't go their way and blame the ref since it was all a fix. Sad thing is most gooners actually believe this in their heads. Bless them they need help.

Haha, what a bunch of ******s. The rumor was started by Stade 2 which is France's version of BBC and unless it is being run by Arsenal fans then how can you blame us for whinging, that is if you are actually having a go at us for whinging or you are as always, displaying your bitter obsession with the club you know will make a mockery of your 99 team and win the quadruple this season.

You really are as thick as two short planks that have been stuck together with pig **** aren't you?

    http://sportifi.com/news/French-med...bing-Arsenal-44-draw-at-Newcastle-680741.html

"The Stade 2 TV show claimed detectives are looking into one of the players in particular."

As I said before, there has been no mention of the referee in any official news articles or headlines. They only mention one of the players, later clarified to be one of the Arsenal players - Rosicky. The rumour that the referee is being investigated has only appeared on forums, blogs and tweets, mostly from Arsenal fans.

To summarise: Stade 2 reported that the game and one of the players were being investigated. Some paranoid Arseholes decided that this must mean that the referee is being investigated too, and thus spread a malicious rumour all over the internet. No credible news source has mentioned anything about the referee. I am guessing that the fans who added the rumours about the ref are in the minority, and there may only be one of them. But the fact that genuine Arsenal fans were willing to spread these rumours so wide without anyone bothering to check the source does speak volumes about the mentality of your fans right now...

You really are completely ******ed aren't you? Two short planks have nothing on you! The only things Gabriele Marcotti has said on the subject are:

    1. Rosicky is the only mentioned in the Stade 2 piece
    2. The accusations are probably all BS and shouldn't have been aired
    3. The only accusations against the ref have come from unofficial sources and are only "theoretical talk"

I suggest you read his twitter page instead of relying on what you read / write on forums.

If you're still struggling to scratch your head with your knuckles dragging on the floor, you can look at the actual broadcast from Stade 2:

    http://tele.premiere.fr/Zapster/Un-incroyable-match-de-foot-plonge-au-coeur-d-une-enquete-judiciaire

See if you can work out who they are focusing on...I'll give you a clue...number 7...
