Arsenal eye AC Milan star Nigel de Jong - but QPR are interested too Jun 10, 2014 01:57 By Chris Richards The Dutch international, 29, is reportedly upset that his pal Clarence Seedorf has been axed as San Siro boss Ryan Pierse - FIFA Arsenal and QPR are reportedly eyeing AC Milan's Nigel de Jong. The ex-Manchester City star, 29, had hinted he would be keen on a return to the Premier League if his close pal Clarence Seedorf was axed as Milan boss. Former Italy international Filippo Inzaghi has now been announced as Dutchman Seedorf's replacement at the San Siro. Now according to The Sun, both the Gunners and QPR are ready to sound out De Jong about a move to London. Hoops manager Harry Redknapp is a big fan of the holding midfielder who had a reputation as a hardman even before his studs-in-the-chest challenge on Xabi Alonso in the 2010 World Cup final. The Dutch international has 12 months left on his Milan contract but is said to be upset that his pal has been replaced by youth-team boss Inzaghi. Seedorf won 11 of his 19 Serie A matches in charge but Milan missed out on Europe by a point. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-eye-ac-milan-star-3668619#ixzz34DZpCshr Follow us: @DailyMirror on Twitter | DailyMirror on Facebook
Hmmm.... Arsenal or QPR... Arsenal or QPR? I think we should announce a wage cap - that should put the silly season stories to bed once and for all.
