Sorry folks, but it's been a complete f--k up today. To begin with, selling your best player of the season to a major rival? Sorry folks, that would have NEVER HAPPENED in the past, and us selling RVP to Manunited simply illustrates how far back we have fallen. Can you imagine us ever selling Henry to them? Or Pires, back in the day? I'd really like to know what those ****ing idiots at the board and management were thinking when they agreed to allow this to happen?

Some might say OH THE MONEY WILL BE PUT INTO BUYING A REPLACEMENT, WRONG!!!!!!!!!! Second f--k up, there will be NO REPLACEMENT. According to Wenger, we already bought replacement, well here's the problem. When Wenger initially brought in Pod and Giroud, HE OPENLY SAID THEY'RE NOT REPLACEMENTS, but were bought to STRENGTHEN THE TEAM. So he's gone back on his own word. Essentially, no matter how you look at it, we have NOT STRENGTHENED OUR ATTACK.

Last season we all said RVP needed more cover, we basically NEEDED RVP, AND ANOTHERRRRRRRRRRRRR STRIKER. Things were looking good, we got Giroud, the back up striker, but now he's the main striker, so we're back in the same position, having 1 main striker, with no proper back up.

Oh but you might say Pod is striker 2, WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pod was brought to play on the left side, and will be converted into a left winger, JUST LIKE GERVINHO, remember folks, Gervinho WAS A STRIKER before he came to us before Wenger converted him, the same will happen with Pod, he will not be a striker for us but a winger.

So therefore, Giroud is our main striker, and it's back to square one, just one main striker for the team, and not good enough back up.

The same **** from Arsenal, 1 step forward, 2 steps back, brilliant work Wenger, brilliant work the board.

Hey no worries, we got Chamakh and Park to step in if Giroud gets injured.

I am pretty sure that Gerivnho was not a striker before we brought him. He was a winger at Lille. Him and Hazard played on the wings and Moussa Sow played through the middle. Podolski was playing through the middle for Koln last season however, and he was played though there against Koln on the Sunday at the start of the second half. Although, I do accept that we need another forward now.

Fair enough, but we're not getting another striker? Now what? It's truly back in the same position, but not really, we are potentially in a worst position because can we say either Pod or Giroud can put in the type of season RVP gave us? So technically, we are worst off right now in the striking department. It's very sad. And highly frustrating. It's quite evident now, this club is NOT BEING run properly, contrary to what we are being told. We're always told about how good our money situation is, DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH, CAUSE YOU KEEP ****ING SELLING OUR BEST PLAYERS.

I think anyone with half a brain would say we are better off up front this season.Last season we had just RVP and it was always in the back of your mind that he would end up with an injury

Why do you make the assumption that RvP can give us the same performance that he did last season, but you assume that Podolski or Giroud can't?

Repeating as the top scorer of the league is not easy. RvP is hardly in the class of Shearer or Henry, so I don't know how you definitely know that RvP would score 30 goals this coming season, but you write as if it were a locked in certainty.

Right, tell me which part of losing your best striker makes your striking options stronger? Last season we just had RVP, this season we just have Giroud, Pod is going to be deployed down the left.

so let me get this straight, it's more reliable to rely on 2 players who are new, over a player who did score 30 goals, lol, if you want to play the game of doubt, a smart wise man would place his bet on the man who was the seasons top scorer.

If Poldi is to be solely deployed on the left, why did Wenger give him 25 minutes in the middle on Sunday?

look some of you can spin this as much as you want, there is no positivity in losing your best striker, for goodness sakes, even PISKIE agrees, there's no way to spin this in a good way, you just come off sounding really desperate when you try to say losing your top striker to a main rival is not that much of a big deal.

Case proven, he only get 25 minutes in the middle, but was mainly deployed on the left. :).

He only got 25 minutes because we were trialling Giroud too. How are we supposed to assess our options if we don't try them out.

    in a preseason friendly, YAYYYYYY.

im not saying he will flop, but its still no good to lose your best striker. spin all you want, we lost our best striker to our hated rivals. end of story, this would never happen if we were a true major club, u kidding me? selling your top player to manchester united, a main rival? if that doesn't cause pain inside you, then you need to get your priorities straight.

Are you seriously trying to say that the club would use a pre-season friendly to try out different tactics and formations ?

RvP looked extremely lethargic in said friendly. If RvP is so Godly why didn't he score more than Poldi did? Of course it pains me but if RvP wants to be a ****ing hypocrite then **** him and **** United. RvP is gone, get over it. The season Henry left the implications were looking far worse yet we came within 4 Points from the Title.

Go slit your wrists. The rest of us will move on. Poldi is a proven international and Giroud CARRIED Montpelier to the Ligue 1 title

Would he? If you placed a bet on ANY player surpassing 30 goals in a season you would have lost your money more often than you won it. Gambling on the same player to do it, would only have won your bet once in the history of the premier league.

So I don't think a smart man would put his money on RvP doing it.

They tried to keep him. He wanted to leave. What do you want? £24 million, or a Van Persie who everyone knows is leaving for a season?
